Default Change Save Folder for Emailed Contacts

Your choice: The Office button contains both Move or Copy to Other Folder.

Russ,

Thanks so much for responding to my query. I'm currently running Outlook
2007. I work extensively with Outlook Contacts and am looking to eliminate
the step of moving the contact via drag-and-drop after it has already been
saved. Instead, I was wondering if there was a command on the Ribbon that
would allow me to choose which contact folder to save it to (a little like
you can choose which Signature to use when writing an email).

Does that make the question a little clearer?

Thanks!
Deanna

You can move it to another folder when you save it. Method varies with
your
Outlook version which you did not bother to post. I'm sure you'll find
it.

When a contact is sent via email, opened and then saved, is there a way
to
choose which contact folder (if more than one contact folder exists) to
save
the information to? Or, is there a setting that forces Outlook to
prompt
for
which contact folder to save a new contact to?
