I tried the reply function and it worked perfectly well in deriving the URL
as you said. I just saved the message in the Drafts folder and not actually
send it off! After copying the URL, I just deleted the message from there!

I shall try the Google way sometime later.

Well what I do is reply to a post then copy/paste the Message ID, for your
message
The results can be patchy because of server time retention of messages?
You could bookmark the following link, where you can search for the
message, and C/P that location?
