Default Can't import pst file into Outlook 2007

Hi,
I have the same problem with importing a .pst file. I get the "file access
denied. you dont have permission to access C:\backup.pst" message.

I have deleted the file a number of times and re-imported it from the
original source. I've used the same file to import it to a windows XP OS and
it worked fine.
The permissions are set correctly as far as I can tell.

The laptop Vista is installed on is new i.e. has not been upgraded from XP

Any help will be appreciated

cheers

Stan

2. Ignore Brian's comment. While opening directly is sometimes better
than Import, if it won't import it's not going to open either.

Notice I did say this, although not in those words.
