Default How to separate my e-mails from my calendar in MS-Outlook 2003

Thank you Diane for your reply.

I chose to have my e-mail delivered to an alternate location, I assume that
means an alternate PST file, and I do have two of them, but I keep losing my
calendar each time I move the larger PST file to a DVD and start from a new
PST file.

Could you please send me instructions on how to use a different PST file?

Thanks Again

Hello

I use MS-Outlook 2003 for synchronizing my HP iPAQ PDA and to get e-mails
from Yahoo and other POP3 accounts.

I want to have one PST file for my calendar, which is coming from the HP
iPAQ and another PST file for my e-mails. This way when the PST file gets
bigger and bigger, from all these attachments sent to me by e-mail, I can
save it to a DVD and then continue with one original file for my calendar
and
a new brand new small file for e-mail.

I checked the option to have e-mail delivered to a different PST, but it
seems that this also made the calendar also move to the new locations. I
named the file E-mail Personal Folders.pst with a file size of about 10.5
GB
and put it in a folder called E-mail PST File, and I have another file in
a
folder called Outlook.pst in PST File with a file size of 265 KB and both
these files have the same dates and time only a second or two different.

I can't tell which is getting updated when I get e-mail? because the time
of
access is almost the same.

I tried to rename the E-mail Personal Folders.pst with a file size of
about
10.5 GB file to something different and I lost my calendar?!

Any ideas will be greatly appriciated.

Thanks
