I am not intending to do anything other than posting to hard core

The thing to remember when using any "anonymizing" service: The
server one level upstream from you has your IP address. Do you trust
them? This is just informative rhetoric, BTW. You, personally, seem
to be comfortable that the folks upstream from you are cool with your
IP address.

I don't find it especially troublesome that my IP address is out in
the open. The only thing it hampers is my ability to run "Socks".
Puppets, not proxies.

I am not sure if I understand what you have presented. I am not concerned
what service has my IP or any personal information as long as it is not in
the open for easy viewing by everyone on usenet. I am not involved in any
illegal activity or even spaming. I just don't care to be stalked by one
particular sick individual.

When you ask "do you trust them" is what confuses me as what would they do
other than provide information to those that would have a reason to request
it? Am I missing something?
