Default 'Naming' a hyperlink

I know how to insert a hyperlink in an email document. But when I do so the
complete link shows. Is there a way to 'name' the link something and have
only that 'name' appear in the document but when the user clicks on it it
will take them to where the link 'points'?

For example, if I wanted to direct someone to www.google.com but only have
the word "google" in blue so that when the reader clicked on "google" it
would take them to the web site, how could I do that?

I'm running OE6.

Thanks for your help,

Mike
