Default location of pst/contact information

Don't recall for Windows 98 but look for a hidden file with the extension .pst.

After furious head scratching, fpefpe asked:

| I was running outlook 2000 on win 98se -- the computer died, so I pull
| the hard drive and put in a usb containter -- I need to copy the
| outlook info ( mail, contacts ) from the drive that is now a usb drive
| to my new computer running xp and outlook 2003 -- where would the data
| be on the old drive?
