Instead of using Right click, Save Picture, use File, Save Attachments.
That should remember the last folder that you saved to.

I use OE as newsreader to follow aviation related NG's.
When I want to save images, I rightclick on the image in the message
preview and choose Save picture as... from the context menu.
Then the Save As dialog pops up, which is always pointing to the My
Pictures folder.
I'd like it to default to an folder on my D-drive.
I've searched Help and the Registry to accomplish this, but have
gotten nowhere...

Anyone who can enlighten me on this one?
