Default change meeting ownership in outlook

Not possible with current versions of Outlook. You will need to re-generate
the meeting with a new owner.

After furious head scratching, Troy G asked:

| Is there a way to change the ownership of a meeting that has been
| scheduled in Outlook? For example, if your boss has a recurring
| meeting (that has reserved a very hard to come by resource), but is
| not going to be running the meeting anymore (or leaves the company).
| He wants to make you the owner of the meeting so that you may make
| changes to the meeting (change the time of individual occurances,
| cancel an individual occurance, etc). But does not want to just
| cancel the recurring meeting and have you schedule a new one (because
| someone else may grab the resource, and doesn't want to confuse all
| the other participants). Is there any way to do this?
