Default Outlook 2003 configuration

I've recently switched from DSL to Cox cable.
I have multiple email accounts with Cox (various members of the family).
I have successfully setup Outlook Express on two remote PC's that
communicate via my wireless router.
I have been unable to setup Outlook 2003 on my hardwired desk top.
My network is: Cable modem - ethernet cable - Linksys wireless broadband
router - ethernet cable - desk top.
I have used the Outlook configuration wizard, verified the POP3/SMTP servers
and ports.
I have logged onto Webmail to confirm I'm inputting the correct Email
address/user ID and password.
I continue to receive the following error:
"Find incoming mail server (POP3): Outlook could not connect to the incoming
mail server (POP3). The problem could be the server name or port, or your
server may not support SSL. Verify your port and SSL settings in More
Settings under the Advanced tab."
Again, I've verified the servers, port settings, and I have ensured the SPA
and SSL boxes are not checked.
PS: I'm currently using the computer that has the Outlook problem. So I
obviously have an internet connection.
Any guidance is appreciated.
