OE 6.0, Windows XP, multiple users setup. When logged in as one particular
user, a new problem has arisen. New emails do not show as having been read
after opening. Deleting the message results in it actually being deleted,
but still showing as present in the Inbox. Change to a different folder and
then return to the Inbox and the message is gone.

Deleting the deleted items.dbx does not resolve this problem. Problem does
not occur when logged in as a different user.

I may not have explained this too well, but would apprecitae suggestions for
resolving.
