Lost contacts when dragging
Why would you be searching for PST files? The PST file Outlook is using
didn't go anywhere did it? Can't you just use Folder List view to examine
your entire Folder hierarchy and drag the Folder back where you wanted it?
You dragged it somewhere, right?
It's not possible to "cut" when you drag folders. Your options when you drag
are to Move or Copy. Neither deletes the folder. There must be more to this
story than you have conveyed accurately.

I made a terrible mistake. I intended to drag a folder with a special list
of contacts back into the main Contacts Folder since, for some reason,
they
were cut rather than copied when I created this new folder of contacts.
By
mistake, I dragged the folder onto the Calendar icon. Now they are
totally
missing. I have tried everything. I cannot find any .pst files when
doing a
search on my computer. Unfortunately, I had synchronized with my Palm so
these contacts are missing from there as well. I have Outlook 2002 SP3
with
Windows XP.
