Default Is there a limit to how big a distribution list can be?

I have already posted a question about this subject, I have a
distribution list just over 100 reciepients, I get a system
administrator message saying, 452 there are too many recipients, is
there a constriction on how many you can send at once within
Outlook?, I have been in contact with my server and there is no
problem at there end.

The 452 error is a _server_ side error. Outlook is not complaining, your
mail server is. That's where the limit is, not in Outlook.

DLs in Outlook can have a size limit when you connect to an Exchange server.
There you can have as few as 125 to 130 entries. WIth a PST-based DL and a
POP account, however, you may be able to have as many as 1,000 members.
Microsoft recommends having no more than about 50 members in a DL. See
this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/238569/en-us . If Outlook does
complain about the size of the DL, it will not be with an error that starts
with "452".
