Cannot Download Last Few Messages(?)
Happens to me sometimes using the news.teranews.com news server. Some has to
do with the software running on the servers and also how they sync up.
I have a paid subcription to teranews and still...

problem resetting newsgroup list
Left it running last night in normal boot mode. This time it completed the
Reset List function on its own.
My disc free space is getting a bit low (7G) but I have a 1G RAM and a
2.2GHz processor....

Restarted XP in safe mode with network support - added benefit, Trend Micro
antivirus did not run. Still hung up though in resetting list. sigh

Did as you wrote. OE now opens faster which is nice but the reset list
hang-up is still there. I got up to 54351 groups (and most of them are bogus
which ticks me off...) and the file to...

I subscribe to several usenet providers and on some, have trouble refreshing
the list of available groups.
When connected to news.microsoft.com for instance, resetting the list

The screeen which you refer to is 'synchronization of newsgroups on
server'.
This screen does show the number of messages (unread and total) but it can
only show the message count in...

Is there any way to get OE6 to display the number of articles in the
newsgroup subscriptions box (or anywhere else for that matter)? There are
so many usenet groups these days, many of them...

Improper message size displayed
I am having a problem getting the message size to display properly when
