Is this Exchange 2000, 2003, or better? Exchange 5.5 could do this natively
with a reg hack and a couple of changes. Once you progress to a higher
version of Exchange you need a third party...

Where else to find folders of emails on a computer?

Have you considered that the user may have saved each email as a .msg file
or even an .htm file? They could be stored anywhere on the computer.

The application is 10 years old and no longer supported. Microsoft doesn't
even release patches for it anymore. If it doesn't behave as expected on
Vista or newer, this is the reason why.

Reinstalling rarely solves this problem. Have you checked your task manager
processes tab to see if Outlook.exe is still running even if Outlook
appears to be closed?

Why Outlook 2000 can't find WAB.DLL file on Vista?

In addition to what Brian has advised you, please remember that Office 2000
is a 10 year old suite. Microsoft doesn't support it anymore so Vista and
Windows 7 really aren't meant to be compatible...
