I guess I can consider the deafening silence a clue that no one has any idea
how to get out of this particular quagmire. Must be a flaw that has slipped
through the cracks.

I have enabled the "Block Saving of Open XML File Types" option in Active
Directory Group Policy on Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Now everytime I close
Outlook I get the "You are attempting to save...
