Hi Frank and thank you for your reply.

It's not a problem. It's a disagreement between Norton and OE about file
properties. You can ignore it or keep fixing it. It doesn't matter.

Regarding points 2 and 3, both were executed several years ago (and remain
unchecked and turned off, and the PROBLEM remains.

updates, fixes, etc. I delete TIFFs, temp files, Recent, History, Cookies
after each...
