This is exactly what I have tried and did not work. I also created a whole
new profile and I saw the reference populate in real time so in effect, I
created a new one. Still the same...

Russ, I removed it from this dialogue box, went to the properties of the
contacts folder and added it once more. Restarted outlook and still no good.
Also, I created a whole new profile, restarted...

Already done so. I removed and added the entry. Also Russ, you should know
that this is my only contact folder (default folder).
