How is this an Outlook calendaring question?

well, i had to set my preference font 504 different times to the _same_
values!

they could _greatly_ reduce that number if they allowed system-wide...

a number of applications over and over again

if you've used outlook tasks for a while, you probably also have a fair
number of tasks that have no start date: they don't need one right away
