The recurring appts view did the trick; I was finally able to delete the
appt. Thank you so so much. That had been driving me crazy for a long time!

Odd characters in meeting appt in calendar view

Sometimes when viewing a meeting appt on my bosses calendar, it shows a bunch
of question marks and other odd characters as the subject but when you open
