Default Reading properties of encrypted e-mails

I have code that checks incoming e-mails for the senders name etc. The code
works perfect except when the user sends an encrypted e-mail.

Does the Outlook object model work with encrypted e-mails?
Is there anyway around this (maybe using Redemption)?

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Sanjay
