.GetSaveAsFilename() ?
 

How do I get the application method equivalent of .GetSaveAsFilename(), or
..OpenSaveAsFilename() from within VB for MSOutlook ? Neither seems to exist
in my version.

Is there another way to achieve the same result - ie to open the SaveAs
dialogue box ?

Thanks - sounds like the old 'DoCommand' thing, and is probably good enough.
Sadly, i must be very dull today, but I cannot get the VB editor to
recognise CommandBar as a valid word / object. Any ideas?

David, please open the Object Browser (F2). There you´ll find the
CommandBar. Both the Inspector and the Explorer have a CommandBars property.

The ID for the SaveAs CommandBarButton is 748. You can use the FindControl
function to get the object.
