Can anyone help me figure out why, after some months of being able to access
the VBA Editor in MS Outlook 2007 (on Windows XP SP2) all of a sudden nothing happens when I choose the ToolsMacroVisual Basic Editor or press Alt+F11? I have tried removing and re-installing Outlook but it made no difference. I have tried running diagnostics and it tells me there are no problems except that I have not allowed it to download the diagnsotics file (in fact the check box to allow that file to be downloaded is checked). -- Cheers Rob |

Did you check in Tools | Trust Center | Add-ins | Disabled Items?

Sue, thanks for your comments. I have to admit that I don't remember if I
checked that. I have no idea why it would have reset itself, though. I tried every option I could think of to no avail. In the end I did find a solution. Unfortunately it is the same solution I found to the problems I had with Excel 2007, Access 2007 and Word 2007 - I went back to the 2003 version. I have now totally removed Office 2007 from my system. So far the machine is back to it's old fast speed and no crashes yet!!! I don't think Office 2007 and Office 2003 like sharing the same machine on XP. -- Cheers Rob "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Did you check in Tools | Trust Center | Add-ins | Disabled Items? -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "Robbo" wrote in message ...
