"Always perform this check when starting Microsoft Office Outlook"
I have a requirement to install Lotus Notes on machines that Outlook 2003 installed, unfortunately Lotus becomes the default e-mail client after the installation, I have found in the registry where to easily change the default mail program back to Outlook. The problem is thought that when the user launches Lotus Notes for the first time they are asked if they would like to set it as their default e-mail client, if you select the box to not show the message again and select no it will never ask the user again. You might think that this is coming from Lotus but it is the same with Outlook when you run is after installing Notes for the first time, it asks the same question of the user. My company is installing Lotus Notes on a few hundred clients that have Outlook so I am trying to script this so I can keep the help desk calls down on this. I f someone can help on this one I would be eternally grateful ;-) Dan |
