CDO and Outllok application

Default CDO and Outllok application

hi,
One quick question, that is not absolutely clear for me. Do I need to have
installed an outllok if i want to used the CDO 1.2 library?

Default CDO and Outllok application

The client-side CDO 1.21 library is part of the Office distribution (except
for Outlook 2007 where it's a separate download) so you need to install
Outlook. The server side CDO is installed if you install the Exchange admin
tools, that can be used without Outlook being installed and in fact requires
that.

You can also install a standalone version of MAPI and CDO 1.21 (Exchange
version):
