Macro Button to Change subject of active e-mail
I use a program at work that generate a new e-mail message when i click "follow up". It opens a new outlook e-mail, inserts a subject, and body with the order # in the body plus the e-mail address associated with the company i am following up with.
I would like to have a button on that e-mail window that when clicked, changes the subject from "Status" to something else. I have quicksteps for incoming e-mail that i click and it generates a new message with the subject line i want. But i need something that does the same thing with out erasing the to: field, or the body of the email with the follow up e-mails. Is this possible? It seems like it would be fairly basic, but i just can't figure out how to do it... |
