Exchange Client Extensions in Outlook 2010?

All other versions of Outlook enable customization via the ability to manage
various add-in's thru Exchange Client Extensions. Is this gone or different
in Outlook 2010?

Exchange Client Extensions in Outlook 2010?

Gone. The deprecation has been announced repeatedly since before the release
of Outlook 2007.
