Default What happens if multiple users update a contact stored in public folders?

Hi there,

This may be a stupid question but I was just wondering how outlook
behaves when multiple users update a custom contact form simultaneously
in public folders. Will Outlook crash or an error message pop up? If
so, is there any way of "locking" the record if a user has it opened
for updating.

The most likely outcome is that you will get a conflict notification and will need to sort out which item to keep. There is no built-in locking.
