I have a custom form that works fine except on one computer in our
organization, I'll call that computer "A". If someone else, on another computer, makes an edit to the "Task" computer A doesn't seem to recognize the change when the task is opened in the custom form. When viewed in the task list on computer A you can see that a change was made but not when the form is opened. This custom form is used in a public folder and has been for years. This problem just cropped up a couple of weeks ago. Then if you try to make an edit to the task on computer A it causes a conflict that someone else has made an edit to the task etc. Now I'm finding out that there are others who are experiencing the same problem in our organization. When they open this custom form it retains previous information, changes made by others are not seen. We are using Outlook 2003. The only thing that has changed on this computer lately is that InDesign CS3 was installed. Any direction you can give would be appreciated. |

Sounds like the problem forms are one-offed or there is forms cache
corruption. Search on both terms at www.outlookcode.com for information on how to diagnose and fix those problems. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Professional Programming Outlook 2007. That doesn't sound like a forms cache problem to me. Are some users possibly
in offline mode, so that their changes have to be synced to the server before other users see them? If you remove InDesign CS3, does the behavior revert to what you expect? -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "Dan" wrote: I have a custom form that works fine except on one computer in our organization, I'll call that computer "A".
