Default Customized Contact form not showing up

I created a customized contact form in Outlook 2007. I published it to a
public folder. I set the public folder to use that form when posting. My
test user said he was able to select the form in his Outlook 2007 and set it
as default for posting. In the right-hand pane, it reads "Double-click here
to create a new "customized contact". However, when he double-clicks, it
brings up the standard Office contact form. He is an editor of this folder
and I even tried with him as an administrator. Why is the customized
contact form not showing up for him?

Thanks!

I'm confused. You wrote that you modified the public folder to use the custom
form as its default but that the user also did that. The folder only needs to
be modified once. That makes me wonder if the user is referring to some other
folder or, if not, exactly what the user did.

Only a folder Owner can change the default form for a folder.

I think that I had to do it from the users Outlook also because I tried
before syncing was done. If I waited it might have done it on it's own.
The user is doing the correct folder. I have to see if the form is showing
up today and then I will post back. We use Kerio MailServer and it uses its
own connector to sync to Outlook.

The form is still not showing up. Other Outlooks see the folder as using
the customized form but the default Outlook form is the only one that shows.

Default Customized Contact form not showing up

The instructions I gave were for a public folder on a Microsoft Exchange
server, which is the normal meaning of "public folder" in an Outlook context.
I have no idea whether Kerio MailServer has any support at all for Outlook
custom forms and, if so, what is the proper way to implement it. You'll have
to ask them. We can't help you with that here.
