I've added fields to a custom appointment form for equipment like a laptop
and projector. When the appointment is sent, I want an email for the form to also be sent to my desktop support team telling them when and where the meeting is, and that a laptop and projector is needed. I would prefer to automate this so that the user doesn't have to add the team names to the invitee lists. How can I do this? Thanks Steve |

Write code for the Item_Send event for the form and in that event handler
create a mail item and put all the information from that appointment item that you want and send the email. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Professional Programming Outlook 2007 Reminder Manager, Extended Reminders, Attachment Options http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htm "Steve" wrote in message ... This could be made easier by creating a second custom form to use as a reply action from the appointment form, which, when done right, will auto-load its information from the appointment form. The trick to get it to auto-load its field data from the first form is to drag its fields from the category of the custom appointment form(form 1), which will appear in the list of categories from which to select fields to drop on response form (form 2). Then you just have to code an execute action in the Item_Send event of form 1. -- Hollis Paul Mukilteo, WA USA |
