Bcc field displays time stamp
Hi
I have an oft that I am re-editing to now include a Bcc field. This field will be hidden with the client's email address pre-filled into it. This way he can track usage. But whenever I add this field in the design mode, it appears with a time stamp pre-filled into it (like 5/3/2006 8:00:00 AM). Even if I run the form and click the Bcc button, "5/3/2006 8:00:00 AM" is already filled in the box. Now, I can change it in the run mode if I please, but that's not the point. It should be pre-filled in the design mode then hidden from view during run-time. Ever hear of this one? Terry |

You don't need to add the Bcc field to design mode. Simply run the current form, add the Bcc recipient using the address book, then save the message as a new .oft file.

Thank you. I have tried this. When re-opening the form to run, I peek
into the bcc field via the TO button and I see the bcc field is already pre-filled with the time-stamp . Ugh! The client will not have access to every oft run since multiple forms can be involked globally from a web hyperlink. The bcc field is just a way he can track how many times it's used. |

Bcc field displays time stamp
OK, I have started from scratch again on this form. The bcc field now
is working properly. But now I have another question. I wanted to hide the bcc field in the design mode because we did not want the user to see it being used. But one can see the name in the bcc box when accessing the address book via the TO button. Can the name in the bcc box not be made visible there? |

Did you add the Bcc field to one of your form pages and set an initial value for it? If so, take out the initial value.
