Trying to delete paragraph symbol

I've been reading the blogs for a couple of months. No one seems to have the
answer -- I have a paragraph symbol that appears in the notes section of a
New Contact in Outlook. How can I get rid of it?

Nothing in "View" was helpful nor the "Text Format" suggestion.

Try Ctrl+Shift+8 to toggle it off and on.
