Outlook doesn't recognise imported Contact's language
A friend has a laptop, W7 Home Premium with Office 2007. Both English versions.
She is trying to import her Outlook Contacts from an XP Pro SP3/Office 2003 Pro Greek system. The new system won't recognise the Greek characters when importing the PST , although it is possible to manually add Contacts in Greek. Installing the Office 2007 Greek Language pack doesn't help. So there is a ridiculous situation whereby she has a Office with all menus etc in Greek, she can manually add Contacts in Greek, but she can't import the 600 odd contacts from her old system. Advice please. |

What happens if she simply opens the PST instead of importing it? FileOpenOutlook Data File? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
