Updating individual contacts
 

Can anybody tell me how to set Outlook so that when I update an email address
in the Contacts list it automatically updates that address in any list that
includes it. At the moment, if I change an email address for someone I have
to remember to go to every group that they're in and click 'update now' for
the change to be reflected in their entry in the group. I've looked
unsuccessfully for a setting somewhere that'll allow this.

There is no such capability. Moreover, even the Update Now button doesn't
work most of the time. DL's are a deprecated feature that most users migrate
away from because they are not reliable and have no useful features.
