Did you actually delete it from each contact or just remove the field from
the view? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: "Michael" wrote in message ... ... Well the file was corrupt and I tried doing a scanpst but was unable to recover so I dont have a back up. Modify one contact to restore the company name. Then display the Contacts in the "By Company" view. Select the contacts with the missing company and drag the selection to the group reporesenting the Company. The name will change for all. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
