How can I add a saved Microsoft Word letter to all my Outlook contacts? I
could open each contact and save it but would take too long. Please help. Thanks. |

This post makes no sense. Explain more clearly what you want to do.

Ok. I have a Microsoft Word document. I would like to attach that document
to all my contacts in Micrsoft Outlook. How can I do this? I know I could open Microsoft Outlook and open each contact and add a journal entry for each, but I have too many contacts. Please help. Russ, you are not making sense to me. I can not explain in anymore detail to
you. Sorry. I will just do this the long way by going into each Outlook contact and making a journal entry and attaching the WORD document I want. Thank you anyway to all that have read my post. If there is anyone ELSE who can help me for future WORD document, I would appreciate it. Thank you. "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Attach a Word Document to a Contact? What do you mean? Create a journal entry that contains a link to the particular Word document or the document itself as an attachment. At the bottom of the entry, click the Contacts button and select the contacts you want to associate with that journal entry. If Outlook objects to having so many linked contacts, make as many copies of the item as you need to link all the contacts, so many for each item.

Thank You Sue, Thank You! I tried this and it works great! This really
saves me from having to go into each contact for my mass mailings. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my question and for understanding it. Thank You! None of us can understand what it is you are trying to do. Can you explain
the purpose of "attaching a Word document to a Contact?" There may be another way to do what you want if we knew what that was. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "The Weinkauf''s" wrote in message news ![]() Russ, you are not making sense to me. Good on you for finally mentioning that this requirement is for "mass
mailings" Now we can surmise that want you want is a record of what you emailed (possibly by merging) to a large number of people. You made this hard for those trying to help you!
