Default check names in LDAP address book

Hello, this is my problem: if I insert just one receipient and I check this
name, all is ok.
If I insert more than one receipient and I check names, in my directory
server log I find more then one query for receipient. Example: if I insert 3
receipient, I have 6 query; if I insert 25 receipient, I have more then 130
query!! So I have to wait answear for 2 or more minutes.
Can you help me?
Thanks
