Backup
I am trying to find out if all my contacts as well as all the information on
my calendar is backed up when use the "backup" under the File tab? It is telling me that my personal folder is being backed up but I am not sure if that includes the contacts and calendar. Thanks |

Backup
There is no "Backup" under the File Tab in Outlook. You must be using some
add-in that you failed to specify, which makes your question impossible to answer. Just follow the standard procedures posted here for backing up Outlook data: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm http://www.howto-outlook.com/Howto/backupandrestore.htm http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...771141033.aspx -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Mark" wrote in message ... Thanks If you're referring to the "Outlook Personal Folders Backup" add-in utility that Microsoft supplies, then, yes. All your data (Calendar, Contacts, Notes, e-mail, Tasks, etc.) is stored in one file and the PFBACKUP utility simply copies that file once Outlook closes. You could do that yourself without any add-in if you want. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Thank You, I did install the backup utility from microsoft. I just wanted to
double check that it backs up both contacts and calendar. Thanks Again "Brian Tillman [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: "Mark" wrote in message ...
