Default Outlook 03. Dulplicate contacts show on new mail - but no info.

I've upgraded from OE to Outlook 2003. Messages & addresses transferred ok
but addresses are a bit of a problem, as follows.

When composing a new mail in Outook and clicking on address icon, message
says "the address list cannot be displayed ......". On 'ok', a window opens
giving input box in top right to show names from the drop down list. In this
drop down there are dulplice instances of "contacts". The first is null but
the second is ok and has all my data.

How can I delete the references to the 'spare' and unwanted and empty
'contacts'?

Many thanks for your replies!

Just delete the invalid reference to Contacts he
Tools E-mail accounts View or change existing directories or address
books Outlook Address Book Change.

FYI, in no way is Outlook and upgrade to OE. They are completely different
and unrelated programs, so you may have a lot of other configuration to do
with a brand new installation of Outlook.
