Default Export file wizard doesn't work

When I attempt to export my contacts from Outlook 2003 nothing happens when I
click on "Export to file" option in the wizard. I haved a couple hours
(okay two minutes) and nothing appears to be happening. I have looked for
open dialog boxes, etc. Any ideas?

What is the reason for the export? (Depending on your reply there may be
another way to do it...)

After selecting "Export to file" - you need to click on the Next button
which is something you didn't explicitly state that you did (there is
absolutely nothing that can be taken for granted by anyone reading a
problem description without the risk of going down many needless paths
wasting everyone's time). Not clicking on the Next button would result in
the exact situation you describe - absolutely nothing happens.

If you did click on the Next button and nothing "appears" to be
happening - would suggest repairing your MS Office installation as a first
step.
