Importing .wab file from Outlook 2003 to 2007
I am trying to imoprt my Contacts which I saved as a .wab file in Outlook
2003, onto a new PC with Vista Home Premium. Frustration? You bet - 2007 reckons it's converted the file which is now 44 Mb into my 'Windows Contacts' folder but so far, I can't see anything in my Outlook Address Book. Any help appreciated. Thanks, David W |
Importing .wab file from Outlook 2003 to 2007
I've always used MS Outlook - when I migrated from my old PC I saved the
AppData folder onto CD. As there was a folder called Address Book I assumed that was where my contacts would be saved. How can I get my previous Contacts information into Outlook 2007 on Vista Premium, previously Outlook 2003 on Windows XP? Thanks, David W "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... That's OK but although emails were restored, Contacts weren't; I used a
backup file made by the downloaded Outlook 2003 backup program and when I tried to open it, I got a message saying it may not recognised by my current version of Outlook or it may be corrupted. I'll try to get my old PC on to get the actual .pst file instead. Regards, David W "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... There is no address book in Outlook.
