Other user's contact list as an address book
Using Win XP, Outlook 2003 (with FileSite document management), sp2.
I have a user who would like to show another user's contact list as an address book, can't just right click properties, outlook address book tab (it is gone). From previous posts, I got instructions on adding the mailbox and showing it as an address book (this works). If changes are made to the contact list, they do not show up when you go to To: and look in the address book. Is there a way to fix this? I thought we could do this before, but have somehow lost this ability. Thanks. Hope this isn't too confusing. |

changes should show immediately. Is the user using cached mode and caching
shared folders? If so, there may be a delay between the changes and when its refreshed in her cache. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Other user's contact list as an address book
You are right, I guess there was a delay. I am now able to make changes and
have the new contact show up. Another question though. Now she wants to add another user's mailbox the same way. So she would have her contact list, the first other user's contacts, and the second user's contacts. The instructions I have only allows for one. How would I add the other? Thanks for any help.
