Making a Distribution List

I'm trying to make a distribution list from my bosses' contacts, which I have
access to, but can't seem to make it happen. Bosses' contacts list does not
appear in the drop-down list to pick from?

You can't use a shared contacts folder in a DL.

See http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/copy_data.htm for a way you can do it.

I have done it by copying all of my boss' contacts into a sub folder I
created in my mailbox. This way, his contacts folder appears in the
drop-down list to pick from. Let me know if you need detailed steps.

Note that when you copy the contacts they will not be synced if you make
changes - you have your copy of his contacts, he has his own and they may
end up totally different weeks down the road.

I do realize that. Most bosses though do not enter their own contacts, let
alone create Distribution Lists - these tasks are normally done by their
assistants. I am an assistant and it is my responsibillity to make sure the
contacts are updated.
