Merging 2 Seperate Contact Lists

Please help! I have 2 seperate contact lists saved. I want to combine the
two, in which some may be duplicate... but I only want 1 contact list. Can
someone tell me how to merge the two with out doing each one individually...
especially since there are over 1,000 names in each!
