Mass Edit of File As in Contacts
I'm using Outlook 2007 with Exchange 2007.
I have the global address list, my address book as well as three public folders configured as address books all recently imported from a legacy mail system. I am attempting to sort it by Last Name, First name. To date, I have the Last name sort configured in the 'Address Book' section where I selected sort on 'File As'. I've discovered that all 5000+ contacts are 'Filed As' First Last Is there any way to mass edit the contacts so they are all 'Filed As' Last, First instead of the default First Last |

See http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/file-as.htm - the code only works on
the default folder, so you'll need to move contacts around to use it. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
