Default Distribution Lists

I have searched all the help topics and could not locate any information
about emailing a distribution list from 2003 to a user with 2007. When a
distribution list is created in the 2003 version, its blank when the user
opens the list from 2007 version. Have I missed something that explains this
issue?

Thank you

If you send it as an item included in a Rich Text message, it should
transfer.

Last question: Does the 2007 end user need to be formatted with Rich Text
before receiving the distribution list?

Thanks
Anne-Marie

No. The recipient can't set the message format anyway. The sender does.
