Default Creating a New Contact

In the General tab for creating a new contact - does anyone know what the
character or line size is for the blank area where freeform notes can be
typed. I use this area a lot and I'm wondering how big the area is...ie when
will I run out of space??

Thx in advance.

I'm having the same problem. If you get an answer, let me know. I put my
question in the Outlook general questions.

I'm not sure there is a size limit.

Um, Mel didn't state any problem. He asked if there was a limit to the
number of characters that can be written to the notes pane of a Contact
record. If you have a problem, post it, making sure you state your Outlook
version and give a detailed description of the problem, along with
everything you've done so far trying to diagnose or fix it.

Default Creating a New Contact

Brian,

I'm trying to change the look of the general tab. For ex: Under phone list,
it has a default of Business, Home, Business fax and Mobile. I want it
always to come up and say Home, Mobile 1, Mobile 2 and Business.
When I have gone to the help, it directs me to ViewArrange byCurrent
viewCustomize Current ViewFields. Then on the right side of screen, its
says put in order what you want. So I list Home, Mobile 1, Mobile 2 and
Business. I save, come out and open up new contact and nothing has changed.
Am I in the wrong area or can I not change it. I'm tired of changing the
screen every time I put in a new contact.

thanx in advance

Brian,

Where you sent me to....OMG...scripts...coding.....I'm lucky I can open
outlook and fill the card. I think it would of been kinder if you just said
nope, your stuck with that. Oh well, thanks for trying. Can't anything be
simple? How hard would of it been for a programer to put a save button, once
we got the tab set in current view, and say, use for all future new contacts.
