Default How do I add calendar entry for existing contacts (birthday)

I had to delete all my calendar entries as it was a mess - several duplicates
were created for each item as I changed the File As format a few times,

So I emptied the Calendar and now want to create the calendar from scratch.
Is there any easy way to do this (VB/Macro)?

Before when I saved a Contact it would give me the option whether I want to
create a calendar entry, but now it does not. And no entry is created
automatically. So I cannot take that tedious route to furbish my Calendar
events either!

If you have emptied the calendar, ie DELETED everything, then you will have
to enter all your events back in manually.

What version of Outlook? I've never seen this happen in any vanilla
Outlook - do you have some add-in that does this?
