Does anyone know of a way to automatically synchronize or update Outlook
2007 contact information from information periodically posted by the contact? It seems that Windows Live Messenger has ways to update contact information based on updates made by the contact themselves to their own information. Is there a way that Outlook 2007 can access Windows Messenger contact information to automatically update the Outlook 2007 contact information? Are there other ways to request updates from the contact (vCards, contact files, etc) in order to synchronize or update your existing contacts? Our problem is that contact information is so dynamic that you really need an automated way to update your contact information based on changes actually made by the contact to their own information. Thanks for any help in resolving this issue. |

The Plaxo add-in for Outlook is supposed to be able to do that. Plaxo, however, has a history of not playing well with Outlook. Thanks, Brian. Thought I would take a shot-in-the-dark. Our ever-growing
email database is becoming almost impossible to update manually. We were hoping for a way to keep it updated based on changes made by the contact to their own information. Such a method would simplify the process and would provide more accurate information. **************** "Brian Tillman" wrote in message ...
